Placement Assessment

All new students complete a placement assessment to determine the level that best matches their current English proficiency.

Enrollment & Start

Once your level is confirmed, complete enrollment and begin classes. Sessions run Monday–Thursday or Friday–Saturday, 18 hours per week.

Already an F-1 Student? Transfer to AEA.

Holding F-1 status at another SEVP-certified institution and ready for a change? AEA welcomes transfer students at any point in their studies. Our admissions advisors and DSOs are here to make the move as seamless as possible.

Apply to AEA

Submit your AEA Application for Admission along with supporting documents: passport, visa, all current and prior I-20s, I-94 record, and a financial statement demonstrating adequate funds for your studies.

Initiate the Transfer with Your Current School

Fill out AEA's transfer eligibility form and bring or send it to the DSO at your current institution. They will complete their portion and return it to AEA to begin the SEVIS release process.

Confirm Enrollment & Receive Your New I-20

Once fees and any applicable deposit are settled, AEA will send your acceptance letter, coordinate directly with your current school, and issue a new I-20 reflecting your enrollment at AEA.

You may not need to leave the country to begin your studies at AEA. If you currently hold a valid U.S. visa, a Change of Status to F-1 could be the right path, and our team will walk you through it from start to finish.

Apply & Submit Your Documents

Complete the AEA Application for Admission and provide copies of your passport, current visa, I-94 arrival record, and a bank statement or sponsor letter confirming sufficient financial support.

Receive Your AEA I-20

Upon acceptance, AEA's Designated School Official will prepare and issue your Form I-20, the document you will need to file your Change of Status petition with USCIS.

Pay the SEVIS Fee & File Form I-539

Remit the I-901 SEVIS fee, then prepare and submit Form I-539 to USCIS with all required supporting materials and fees. AEA strongly recommends working with a licensed immigration attorney for this filing.
